A Gift for the Greatest Mom in the Whole Universe

Two days before Mother's Day, my sister, mom and I met at Glorietta to have our girls' night out. It is also our surprise date for our Mama Anita to celebrate the upcoming Mother's Day.

At Glorietta, we decided to meet at my favorite pasta place, La Piadina, where I was the first one to arrive. But before I had myself settled in a table for four, I stopped by a florist whose shop is just along the corridors of Glorietta 2 to buy some flowers. Mama just loves to receive flowers regardless of the variety.

So, I bought her a bouquet of assorted flowers which names I can't remember. No, they're not roses. But I do know one flower, the Malaysian Mums, because its the prettiest. And I also do know that they look lovelier that a bunch of roses that I usually give Mama Anita.

I've also written some words on a card which the florist provided and it says: "Happy Mother's Day! Love you with all of my heart!" And on the outside, it says: "Part 1 of Mother's Day Gift. Love you!"

When sis and mom finally arrived (which was after 30 minutes), I surprised Ma with the flowers. She totally did not expect it.

When we had made ourselves comfy, we ordered two pasta dishes, a pizza and iced tea for drink All of them arrived quite fast considering the number of customers there.

To make the long dining story short, we loved the food which review you could read at my food blog site: thefoodchikkadora.blogspot.com.

We had to leave right after dinner though because Mama was anxious to get home. Papa and my nephew EJ were left by themselves so she wanted to be home early. (Typical mother :p) So off to our homes we went.

All the way to the jeep and bus terminal, Mama was holding her bouquet of flowers like she's a beauty queen, which she is to my sisters and I, and a whole lot more!

Love you, Mama Anita!!! Very, very, very much!!! We look forward to celebrate more Mother's Day with you!
