Wanting to do something special for my Hubby for Father's Day, I decided to book a room at a hotel so we can relax, unwind, and just, chill. Surfing the net, I found most of the hotels quite expensive but then, per my sister's suggestion, I checked out One Tagaytay Place Hotel and guess what, they have a mid-year room sale!
For P3,400 (inclusive of taxes), my Hubby, daughter and I spent the night in a Deluxe Double Room, and let me show you what the room looks like.

The hotel also provided us with something to drink: bottles of water, Nescafe Classic sticks and teabags complete with glasses, cups and saucers, and a kettle so we don't have to call room service every time we feel like drinking something hot.

The hotel also provided the basic toiletries though I also brought our own since I really didn't know what to expect. I even brought our own towels, but, the hotel provided bath, hand and face towels, two of each.

Our room was on the fifth floor so we have a balcony where a decent view of the Taal Volcano can be seen.
Since room service closed quite early at 9:00 PM, we resorted to 7-11 food for our dinner. But they're not bad at all and we were extremely satisfied with our selection: rosemary roasted chicken rice meal, tocilog rice meal and cheesy chicken sandwich.
We also bought beer, which was allowed in the hotel.

In the morning, we head down to the 3rd floor where the Azalea Restaurant is and where our breakfast was served along with other guests who have availed of the hotel's breakfast buffet.

For breakfast, the choices were: Fried Tawilis, Pork Asado and Chicken Adobo with rice, egg, fruits and brewed coffee. For Reese, she was given cereals of her choice with milk, for free! They're really generous. Thanks, Azalea manager!

After breakfast, we head up to the 9th floor to the pool area where there was a kiddie pool and an adult pool, both of which have freezing water. As in, ice-cold.
Anyway, I don't know if it was the rooftop but we still had an amazing view of the surrounding area.

A few hours later, we were on our way home, feeling refreshed. It was really one great bonding moment for the three of us.
Here's to next time.
